Whole Life Market
Feeding the whole person: body, mind and soul
The BackPack Program and the Whole Life Market relieve the daily stress of feeding our family of four. We have been introduced to other resources and we are all now eating healthier.
Without the Whole Life Market here to help our family, I don’t know what I would do.
“The Whole Life Market is a blessing to our family. I work part-time, which means we live paycheck to paycheck. It is hard to keep food in the house every month.
WHAT OUR FAMILIES SAY

Our goal is to create a free library of wholesome, positive books for every age group. We would like to offer books in English and Spanish.
Furthermore, an Aquaponics system was recently donated to the Whole Life Market and should be operational in the next few months. When it's up and running, it will allow us to offer fresh tilapia and vegetables for families year round.
Since these precious families come to the Whole Life Market each month, we're able to develop and nurture relationships with them that go beyond mere groceries. By fostering authentic relationships, the Whole Life Market is changing lives in Wilson County. While we presently serve over 40 local families in Wilson County, there are many more families and individuals—lives to be served, provided for, and ultimately loved through this ministry.
The Whole Life Market serves families by offering:

Many families in Middle Tennessee are left with the
difficult choice of buying groceries or paying their bills.
The Whole Life Market is the distribution site for a BackPack Program that serves four local schools in Wilson County. Each weekend, the BackPack Program supplies students with food to sustain them until school resumes on Monday. These students receive free breakfast and lunch during the school week, but run the risk of hunger over the weekend. In 2016, the Whole Life Market also grew a local garden on site, yielding enough produce to donate over 260 pounds of food to families we serve.
